About The Role
Our Technical Support Engineers are responsible for assisting with technical support issues within Perspectum’s cloud infrastructure, handling operational issues, alerts, and routine ‘business-as-usual’ tasks. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will identify problems, diagnose platform, software, or service issues, and provide effective assistance while maintaining strong relationships with departments outside of Engineering.
Duties include:

Actively monitoring and triaging incoming alerts or errors

Proactively monitoring production systems for issues and incidents

Understanding our alerting systems and cloud infrastructure to confidently troubleshoot issues

Resolving common issues or routine requests, following (and creating) Standard Operating Procedures

Collaborating with internal engineering teams to resolve significant incidents or bugs

Acting as the point of contact for communicating with stakeholders regarding ongoing issues

Keeping accurate records of issues, along with solutions, to refer to in future instances
About You
We are looking for a solutions orientated and personable individual with excellent communication skills. Whether you are a recent IT or Engineering graduate or have experience working on a helpdesk, you will be proficient in troubleshooting and ideally have basic experience with cloud infrastructure systems (eg. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of Jira, SharePoint, scripting and automation tools would be beneficial, as would an awareness of medical data formats such as DICOM, however these are not essential.
With the right skills and attitude, this role has the potential to develop into a more technical Software Engineering role.
