If so, we invite you to join our team at Perspectum as a Scientist II, where you will play a vital role in shaping the future of digital pathology technology and its applications.
As a Scientist II, you will be at the forefront of translational research, working closely with medical and academic partners to assess the effectiveness of our cutting-edge digital pathology technology across a diverse range of clinical indications. Your expertise will drive the design, implementation, and analysis of clinical studies, supporting the development of innovative solutions that revolutionize the field.
Duties and Responsibilites
- Perform data analyses on clinical data acquired with Perspectum’s digital pathology technology
- Support clinical projects underway, providing hands on coordination and communication to aid deadline achievement.
- Comply with the organisations research policies and procedures and adhere to codes of ethical principals and standards for clinical research
- Contribute to the preparation of results for dissemination (e.g. abstracts, scientific papers)
- Author scientific publications (abstracts, manuscripts, reviews) directed at adoption of the company’s technology
- Manage ongoing research collaborations
- Interpret data and report findings to internal and external stakeholders
What we need from you
Essential
- Academic background in biomedical science, histopathology, or equivalent experience
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team as well as independently.
Desirable
- PhD or MD in biomedical science, clinical science, or related fields
- Experience of statistical and research methods (inc. experience with statistical software, ideally R)
- Experience in executing clinical or biomedical research studies to evaluate new technology/interventions.
- Experience in collaborating on multidisciplinary collaborative clinical projects.
